Multi-Genre Writing Project

This is a major part of your grade for the second semester. We will be spending a lot of time on it, and your best work is expected. There will be test grades and daily grades associated with this project, and you cannot afford to put it off. I promise you will learn and hopefully will have fun doing it. Remember, your final product should be something in which you are proud.

Grading Scale:

Cover Page

5 points
Introduction 10 points
Genre 1 10 points
Genre 2 10 points
Genre 3 10 points
Genre 4 10 points
Genre 5 10 points
Repentend 5 points
Epilogue 10 points
Bibliography 10 points
Endnotes 10 points
Total Points 100 points

You will also have a separate test grade based on the following:
  • Drafts and proof of editing
  • Note cards and bibliography cards used in the project
  • Note cards and bibliography cards NOT used in the project

Your project must be typed and put together neatly. Projects that are not typed will receive a point deduction.

You must use MLA Style when completing your note cards and bibliography page; we have worked with this on previous project, but will go over it again. You will need to have at least 25 information cards and use at least 12 of them in your final project.

Remember that Ms. Josephson is at school every morning if you have questions. Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to get help.
